To My Celestial is my offering to the afterlife. The publication explores the depth and complexity of Vietnamese culture through the intersection of tradition, religion and modernity. It presents a rich collage of visuals and narratives centered on the ancestor veneration practices in Hue, Vietnam, which have deeply influenced me as a creative individual.
For my graduation project, I reimagined the Vietnamese ancestor veneration ritual by weaving graphics, sounds, films, and photography into an immersive installation.
The visual identity highlighted a playful use of green shades and traditional symbolic objects, incorporated into the project’s digital and physical components.
A real-time chroma-key effect that allows the audience to interact with the virtual version of the publication and installation.
